[Updated with slow motion comparsion] This summer, KAWA Rider Jason Haege began the season riding on his original SkySki cast hydrofoil. Then mid-summer he upgraded to a high performance T-bar, front and rear wing setup. In this video the first clip was recorded back in May riding the old foil. The new clips were recorded in late August and September on Lake Kinkaid and Kaskaskia River. In comparison the air-time between old and new foil has been greatly improved. Check it out

Illinois Hydrofoil Fly-In
On August 5-8, 2010 hydrofoil riders from around the midwest gathered at Lake Clinton in central Illinois for their annual Fly-In. The weather was perfect for boating and camping. However, Lake Clinton is a nuclear power plant lake and the water temperature at the discharged was 109.
None the less, it was a great weekend shredding and for meeting other riders from around the midwest. Here are several pictures from the weekend.
